Located south of the equator, Sydney Australia is one of those destinations that travellers who enjoy fresh air, lots of room and diversity are known to head for. Located at the south eastern corner of Australia, this heavily populated city is said to be one of the top destinations at this end of the globe. There is no snow here and unless you are leaving the city, the temperature is comfortably mild, so dress appropriately. Unless you are entering Sydney from some other location in Australia, chances are that you will be entering through Kingsford Smith Airport which is considered as Australia’s busiest airport, and you need not fear; the flights are continuous by some of the big airlines that you are probably accustomed to. There are many things to see and do in Sydney, so come prepared to be very busy and entertained. The ever popular Opera House, Sydney’s ever famous landmark is a must see for all art lovers. You have not been to an aquarium until you have seen the Sydney Aquarium where it said to be the home of more than eleven thousand different species. Or you can cruise by the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge, otherwise known to the natives as the old coat hanger. As diverse as the city of Sydney is, you would expect a wide variety of dining options and you would certainly not be disappointed. Whether you are in the mood for Indian, (Kerala chilli beef) Italian, (Pasta or puttanesca pizza) Seafood, (Fish and Chips) or any of a variety of of other choices. So many restaurants, so little time.

Many hotels in Sydney are close to night spots that are sure to entertain, so expect to be entertained, if that is your desire. Most people in Sydney enjoy stepping out and enjoying the local activities, so if your preference is live music, or a DJ at a club or pub, chances are that you will be rubbing shoulders with the locals. Sydney also enjoys other means of entertainment, such as Jazz, classical music and there quite a few drag establishments if you are in the mood to dress up.
